Chris Schwarz leads global employee communications at Lam Research, where he partners with organizations throughout the company to encourage employees to collaborate, engage, and bring their best selves to work. Through his career, he has been involved in public policy, corporate responsibility, and community relations in Silicon Valley and, more recently, Oregon. Prior to joining Lam, Chris was a managing director at Canyon Snow consulting, where he worked with clients on their government affairs, community relations, and corporate responsibility strategies and programs. Before that, he served as an aide to a U.S. Congressmember, where he interfaced with advanced technology companies in the heart of Silicon Valley to understand their interests in the public policy arena. Chris earned his bachelor’s degree in Political Science from San Jose State University, and his ongoing education is made possible through a steady diet of his favorite podcasts.
